Edwin

Edwin Jeans was founded in 1947 by K.K. Tsunemi, a Japanese denim-enthusiast, who began by importing used jeans from the USA at a time when denim was not yet being manufactured in Japan. When he began to produce his own garments under the Edwin label in 1961, quality, craftsmanship, innovation and integrity were the watchwords, and this ethos continues to inform the design and manufacture of Edwin Jeans to this day.

Credited with the invention of stone washing in the 1980s and the concept of ‘new vintage’ denim in the 1990s, Edwin have influenced the entire denim industry with their innovative approach to jeans design. Today the brand is renowned for its urban style - simple, stylish and street-smart, with a reputation for quality, durability and comfort, and a list of celebrity fans including A-list Hollywood stars.
