The college look has become the favourite look of many brands, including Franklin & Marshall, an Italian based brand. The founders Giuseppe Albarelli and Andrea Pensiero are two designers who have a love of vintage clothing and the classic American college look. They took the inspiration for their designs from looking at both modern day youth fashions and the cult looks of the 1950s.
