Redwing

Taking its name from the company’s home, Red Wing City in Minnesota, Charles Beckman, a Red Wing main street shoe merchant could not find footwear that met his requirements he decided to make his own, and in 1905 the Red Wing Shoe Company was born. When the Red Wing Shoe Company first started making boots, people still rode horses to work.
