The way we wear our jeans these days means that a belt isn't always needed. But if you really want to look great, wear a belt.

It always helps to make the jeans or trousers you wear fit, just that little bit better; and what an easy way of wearing a simple, understated masculine accessory.

Although the basic design has not changed for thousands of years, modern belts come in all shapes and sizes, with different fabrications & embellishments.

The belt you would wear with jeans is generally more rugged, wider, made from heavier distressed leather or fabric with bigger buckle, possibly even studs. For a suit or trousers a thinner, simple belt is more appropriate, made from refined leather, with a simple more delicate buckle with keeper.
