The original updated. As Polo shirts go there’s absolutely nothing more authentic than the Polo Ralph Lauren version. Produced continually since the 1970’s, this very slightly slimmer version is the latest and best incarnation of an all time classic.
Custom-fit is by no means skin tight, just a slightly more European fit than the classic Ralph Lauren Polo shirt, the differences between custom and classic fit are small but important in the overall look of the garment. Custom-fit has a slightly higher arm hole with sleeves 1.5 inches shorter, it is 1.5 inches slimmer in chest and body, and cut 1.5 inches shorter in the hem. As a general rule if you are a medium in classic-fit you will be large in custom-fit.
Made in 100% weathered cotton pique they can be washed at 40o. These shirts will age down beautifully, acquiring a slightly more antique look with each wash. Such a versatile garment, and once you buy the first one the other colours start to seem almost irresistible.
