Creative Recreation

Creative Recreation was launched in Orange County, California in autumn 2002 by founders and friends Rich Confinco and Robert Nand. Recognising that footwear brands would either appeal to the dress shoe brigade or the more casual sneaker fan, they decided to fill the gap in the market for young stylish professionals, designers and style-savvy entrepreneurs who were no longer required to be suited and booted at the office.

Creative Recreation sneakers grew from the concept that this generation wasn't going to follow the same old well-travelled roadmaps of previous times. A new journey beckoned for Creative Recreation shoes: to embrace fashion-freedom with a design approach that blurs the rules.

The brand delivers footwear to the new global generation, confident that they will be individual, without worrying about anyone else rocking the same gear.Creative Recreation collections are kept to limited editions as far as possible. For each colour and style in their lines, between 90 to 500 pairs are made worldwide.
