Money Clothing - Inspired By Money

Money Clothing was established in 2003 by Melvyn de Villiers and Nick Cordell, joined shortly afterwards by Takashi ‘Maru ‘ Marujo. The name of the label was derived from the obsession with money that many people have, and this was illustrated in their early jeans collections which would display currency symbols such as the US dollar and the British pound sign on the rear pocket. In 2004, Money introduced the King Ape and the Signature device which became their trademark worldwide. Together, the trio wanted to create an urban label whose popularity was informed by both its superior branding and products of the highest quality. Due to the impeccable design and craftsmanship of their clothing, in 2006 Money Clothing became the brand for Italian footballers Alberto Gilardino and Luca Toni.

Money Clothing - It is all about the Money

Money Clothing is now one of the UK’s most sought-after designer labels. Their clothing collection is now made up of several types of garment including Money polo shirts, which are either long or short-sleeved, striped or plain, and feature the Money logo on the left breast and King Ape along the left arm. There are also Money t-shirts with their distinctive Money logo across the front, or graphic prints which vary each season but continue the Money theme. Their superb collection also includes jeans, coats and jackets, with sweatshirts and hoodies to complete the full clothing line, all proudly displaying the Money logo and King Ape.
