During the 1970s Vivienne Westwood, was an exciting , imaginative woman with her sights set on making a name for herself in the world of fashion. The 80’s saw a vast array of changes from the pirate collection in the early 1980’s, influenced through her study of the costumes and paintings in the Victoria and Albert Museum of pirates of the 18th century with the baggy trousers and asymmetrical romantic look with the garments being adorned by models with a sexy curvaceaos frame to the middle 80’s with her splendid English tailoring of Princess line coats, being inspired by the Queen as a child. Also during this period clothes covered in company logos and day glo florescent patches were introduced into the world of fashion.

With Vivienne Westwood’ s total adoration of everything vintage, her new collection of Jewellery named the Palladium collection Gainsborough, which was launched on the catwalk of Paris Fashion Week’s show was inspired by Trompe L’oeil drawings originally at Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label Autumn Winter2000/2001 collection. Palladium is a precious metal which top designers are choosing to style their unique beautifully finished masterpieces. Due to its ability to encompass larger gem stones yet still be able to craft the fine jewellery with detailed intricate designs. Her most current collection of fine jewellery features nine pieces in total encrusted with diamonds and sapphires. Contained within the Palladium collection are earrings, bracelet, ring and Vivienne Westwood’s stunning tiara.
With her association with the arts, Vivienne Westwood, during 2013 will be the first collaborator to assist with rebranding of the English National Ballet.
