Juicy Couture was founded by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor in Arleta, Los Angeles in 1995. The pair wanted to create a range of contemporary casual wear and dress clothing. The brand became known for its signature velour tracksuits after celebrities such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were spotted in them, soon after gaining a significant fan base, with their "Juicy" tracksuits being sold worldwide.
The brand's global success increased after the brand expanded out into a range of handbags, shoes, underwear, swimwear, accessories, perfumes, yoga clothing, t-shirts and babywear, giving a wide range of casual wear their signature luxury spin.
