Moncler Junior
Founded in 1952 in France, Moncler refers to an abbreviation of Monestiers de Clermont, a small mountain village near Grenoble where the brand was initially conceived. The brand which started life making sporting garments tailored mainly to mountaineering has since become one of the go-to designers in luxury fashion.
Following a surge in popularity in the 80s among young people, Moncler became a recognised fashion label. Following the takeover of Remo Ruffini in 2003, the brand began a repositioning process which led to its now unique and distinctive image. During this time, Moncler began to deviate from their generally sporting influences to target consumers of all dispositions.
