AMI Paris Sweatshirts and Hoodies
Originally developed by the American underwear company Jockey for the University of Southern California's Trojan football team, the sweatshirt was created as a sweat absorbing top-practical for wearing during the colder months when an extra layer was required. The humble sweat shirt has come a long way, to the point where no self-respecting fashion collection would be without them. Along with jeans and t-shirts, they've become one of the great fashion successes of the 20th century.
AMI Paris’ influencing is evident from these American roots but also seamlessly blends in the Parisian couture chic you’d expect from a French designer (in this case, young Alexandre Mattiusi, who designs, runs and creates everything out from the brand) for an effortless ‘sports luxe’ aesthetic.
The collection of outerwear comprising sweatshirts and hoodies is vast, spanning a variety of colours, fabrics, finishes and designs – so there’s truly something for everyone.
