Giuseppe Zanotti started his fashion career in the 1980s, starting from working locally with small craftsmen before branching out as a freelance designer. Whilst freelancing, Zanotti worked with a range of renowned fashion houses, such as Valentino, Thierry Mugler, Missoni, Dior, Roberto Cavalli and Ferré.
In 1994, Zanotti took over the small Vicini Shoe Factory, where he was allowed the freedom of creating his very own designer footwear. As his popularity grew, Zanotti’s factory employed more skilled embroiderers, shoemakers and jewellers to expand his truly eye-catching collection. In 2000, Giuseppe Zanotti opened his first boutique in Milan, with further boutiques opened in New York, Paris, London, Moscow, Dubai, San Francisco and Stockholm to name but a few.
Proving to be a hit in the entertainment world, Zanotti’s collection has since branched out from elegant women’s footwear to incorporate a wide range of funky, unique and glamorous trainers for both men and women.
